In 2019, strategic consultant Ken embarked on a comprehensive analysis of consumer reviews and how brands engage with their customer base. He initiated a year-long in-depth investigation into the intrinsic value that individuals can contribute to their beloved products, brands, and services.
This inquiry encompassed the evaluation of direct marketing, databases, AI, social media advertising, and loyalty programs, as well as the influence of various platforms on consumer behavior and experiences.
In February 2020, the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic prompted global lockdowns, severely limiting access to beloved brands and experiences. The ensuing global financial crisis resulted in declining service standards, diminishing product quality, increasing prices and cutting down of manpower. Loyalty programs witnessed a decline in their perceived value, and consumers’ experiences underwent a profound transformation. During this period Ken met Lola, a service freak with a wallet once full of loyalty programs who got deeply affected by the deteriorating quality of service; she shortly joined the journey of delving into the impact of the financial crisis on customer experiences, scrutinizing purchasing statistics, and analyzing consumers emotional responses towards brands.
This ultimately led to the development of an intriguing digital platform, inspired by the foolish wisdom of medieval court jesters and the pivotal role they played within the kingdom’s court, who skillfully unearthed the known-unknown to the collective advantage and served as enlightening conduits for fascinating insights.
