I have lived abroad for many years and have dedicated suitcases to move stuff. When I bought these travel cases the sole purpose was to move things from house A to B – never for travel. However, on some occasions when I needed the extra space to take stuff with me on holiday, I often took one of these bags, and yes I regret it as I forgot whilst being at the airport that the wheels do not properly turn, or the handle is so thin that it cuts into my hands, no lock, and the zipper broke off on the first serious pull. These bags were reasonably priced between $25-$50 each and I should not expect a lot from them.
So, I recently decided to buy a suitcase purely for my travel needs. I ended up with Delsey. I know this brand from my years when traveling with my parents. They are known to be sturdy, light, and good design. My Grandma always reminded me that these Delsey’s are somewhat more expensive so we should use them only for travel. Well to my surprise I came across a great offer and I bought myself a white Delsey suitcase.
