For the first time in THX® history, the LCR 100-THX has earned the prestigious THX Ultra2™ certification for both horizontal and upright placement, despite stringent requirements for dispersion characteristics. Equipped with two 17 cm subwoofers and a large tweeter cone, this speaker delivers distortion-free sound levels exceeding 110 decibels with exceptional clarity. The 42 mm tweeter operates in a linear fashion from 1,500 to 27,500 hertz, thanks to the integrated horn (Waveguide) and sound distribution lens, resulting in an efficiency of over 90 decibels. This means even smaller AV receivers can provide an immersive cinema experience with Cinema Ultra. Additionally, the LCR 100-THX’s flat enclosure is ideal for discreet wall mounting using wall brackets and VESA fittings.
